Hiking

On the Seelbeek, near Beeklaan 1, is the only remaining commercial building of the model farm Het Huis ter Aa. In the building, actually a 'filter building' with a filter cellar at some distance, underground, the water of the Seelbeek was purified by means of gravel and sand. The purified water was used as drinking water for the cows on the model farm and to wash them. The building was built around 1905. After the departure of the model farm, it fell into disrepair.
