Hiking
The tower, built on a private initiative in 1974, is not only considered by experts to be an unhistorical "bad design", but the well-preserved fragments of an original Roman guard tower were also used during construction, so that the original features were largely destroyed.
It is also fitting that the copy of Pintaius' funerary stele set up here was not found in Rheinbrohl, but a nice piece further down the Rhine, in Bonn...
