In 1993, future nature reserves were temporarily secured on military sites
Properties in the districts of Schmalkalden, Bad Salzungen and Hildburghausen.
Including:
"Hildburghausen City Forest"
Districts Hildburghausen, Ebenhards, Ehrenberg, Rappelsdorf and Gerhardsgereuth, Hildburghausen district.
So nature was able to spread, especially the heather plants. And so a piece of heathland was created.
