Klopni vrh from the north-west side closes the lower-lying extensive plateau in the eastern Pohorje. The area of the horizontal section at a height of 1,300 m is significantly smaller than the area of the equally high Mizna vrh, which is located south-east of Klopne vrh, which is probably where the meaning of the names comes from.

In 2021, the Austrian Alpine Club honored the 100th birthday of Reinhold Stecher, Bishop of Innsbruck, with a special campaign. A total of four different quotes from the popular pastor, who was closely connected to the mountains and nature throughout his life – in which he saw God's creation – were written on iron plaques in a limited edition and given away in return for donations. In my opinion, the summit of Klopni Vrh – although located outside his homeland – is also well suited to recalling one of the quotes: “In wonder, we inspire the step of the spirit.”
