This 17-foot (5.2 m) obelisk memorial, to the west of the village of Humshaugh, pays tribute to those who lost their lives during the First World War. The inscription reads: 'In memory of those who fell in the Great War'. It was erected here in February 1920 and has since been amended to also pay tribute to those who died during the Second World War.
