This approximately 450-year-old post mill can be viewed in the mill garden of the Salder Castle Museum. It was originally located in the SZ-Osterlinde district and is one of the few 40 wind and water mills in this area that has remained. Besides her there is a water mill in Lobmachtersen / Gebhardshagen and another post mill in Lichtenberg.
In the immediate vicinity is the Ice Age Garden, which is also interesting for smaller visitors with its woolly rhinoceros and mammoth.

The Bockwindmühle can be admired on the outdoor grounds of the municipal museum Schloss Salder. It is already gigantically large, a great photo opportunity. A look inside is possible on special occasions - Mill Day or Heritage Day.
