Hiking

Willingen is located in the middle of a beautiful low mountain landscape and, as the main town in the Upland, offers a wide range of leisure activities: hiking, cycling and winter sports. Cultural events such as large concerts are also organized here. The infrastructure is geared to large numbers of visitors. There is plenty of accommodation, including the well-known Sauerlandstern, restaurants for every taste and many shopping opportunities.

Hiking

Next to Winterberg, Willingen is the tourist stronghold in the Rothaargebirge. Countless restaurants want to be visited, people celebrate on the Ettelsberg, you can mountain bike or ski and for all other tourists the wildlife and leisure park, the visitor mine, the glass blowing workshop or the summer toboggan run are well taken care of. By the way, all this is relatively close to the center!
