The log cabin located in the Oerlsdorfer Wald (near Oerlsdorf and Sichelreuth) commemorates the work and legacy of former ducal Saxon Meiningian forester A. Freysoldt in Steinach ("The Franconian Forests in the 16th and 17th centuries, self-published in 1904) and today serves as protection and hunting lodge in the forest district Neuhaus-Schierschnitz.
