Cycling
The village was part of the provost of Haguenau in the 16th century and was integrated into the Kingdom of France by the Treaty of Westphalia in 1648.
The village depended on the parish of Eschbach until the French Revolution.
The Saint-Nicolas church was however built there from 1752 and the presbytery around 1821.
