A friendly resident told me that she remembers how she fetched water from this spring every day as a child (in this case, place), since the source of the brook probably rises in the nearby Elm.
The honeycomb rises in Reitlingstal in a headwaters with several springs. These individual springs were taken and serve to supply drinking water. In Erkerode on Ludquellenweg, the water from the Ludquelle also flows into the honeycomb.
