In fact, you cross the Drentse Aa with this bridge, but the stream has different names depending on the location. Because it flows past Schipborg here, it bears that name. The entire stream valley is called the Drentse Aa, but the stream itself is not called that anywhere, except in Groningen 😁.

A narrow bridge for pedestrians crosses the Drentsche Aa here. The bridge looks slightly dilapidated, but is still quite stable. If you like, you can swing on the tree next to the bridge over the water or take a break on the bench on the other bank. There is also a ford for riders.
