Cycling
For a long time, the so-called Old Castle was associated with the Middle Ages, but more recent finds clearly date the complex back to the late Iron Age (Hallstatt Period). It can therefore be assumed that the old castle was used at about the same time as the Heuneburg, about nine kilometers away, most likely as a meeting place and cult place, but perhaps also as a fortification.
