Mountain biking
The climb up the Devils Staircase is in short one big hike-a-bike, especially with lugage while bikepacking. The path up on the mountains and down again on the other side are however totally worth the hassle of hiking up! Not only will you enjoy some amazing and lonely views in the middle of nowhere, but also you'll skip the busy car used road down in the valley.
