The advanced tower with a tail dome and lantern rises up from the magnificent facade. The single-nave hall church has a main altar with a canopy, which rests on four columns and carries the Mother of God. An excellent carving, the "Entombment of Christ" around 1500 from the Riemenschneider School still comes from the previous monastery church.
