The last surviving World War Two D-Day tank landing craft has opened to the public. LCT 7074 was renovated with a National Heritage Lottery fund £4.7m grant ahead of its permanent display at the D-Day Story museum in Southsea, Portsmouth. The Landing Craft Tank LCT 7074 is the last surviving vessel of its type and is on display at Southsea Seafront. You can visit The D-Day Story museum in Portsmouth to learn more about the landing craft and other exhibits.

Very pleased to have seen this on a recent ride after it featured on the BBC news due to its delayed transfer to Southsea during the pandemic lockdown. LCT 7074 is the last surviving Landing Craft Vessel from the D-Day Landings and it has a fascinating history, including time in Liverpool as a nightclub before being left to rot in a Merseyside dock and more recently being salvaged and renovated.
