During the Cold War, the anticipated advance of the Warsaw Pact in this area was to be prevented or at least delayed with hidden artillery, some of which consisted of T34 tank turrets set in concrete and camouflaged as hay barn. Fortunately, the systems are no longer in operation these days and some of them serve as a museum here. Free entry.
