The Bernsteinsee is a former gravel pit and today a wonderful recreational area with a water ski cable car. At an altitude of 860 m, 11 participants can ride the cable car across the Bernsteinsee at the same time. Before or after the waterskiing you can relax on the wooden terrace of "Körk's Strandarena" directly on the lake with coffee or play beach volleyball and mini golf or just swim.

At Amber Lake you drive past, if you drive from Neuheide to Ribnitz-Damgarten (or vice versa). In the western part of the water ski plant falls on and in the eastern part of a small river island, which is under protection.
