Hiking
in the years 1927-1930, as the gorge-like lower reaches of the Vorderen Schwarzachen in particular repeatedly caused greater difficulties during the Trift.
The complex route through the narrow valley with tunnels and 7 bridges required the use of army pioneers
The railway remained in operation until a forest road was built in 1958.
