Since the Via Julia cycle path runs on the former railway line of the Weldenbahn, the actual Roman road is a bit out of the way in the forest on a forest path. If you look closely, you can still see the old embankment quite well. A little further along the forest path you will also find a small refuge with the opportunity to rest.
