Fabulous walking area, with several public footpaths converging on the tiny off-road parking area on Nought Bank Road. Nought Moor is not just about heather, there are numerous young beech and birch trees that make the area feel quite lush. If you head back north into Pateley Bridge, you will also pass through the Skrikes Wood nature reserve that lines the northern bank of the moor.
