The Lobor-grad home for adults is located in a valley at the foot of the Ivanščica mountain, approximately halfway between Zlatar and Lobor. The institution was formed on the former estate of the Keglević family around the castle, which dates from the second half of the 17th century.
The first form of institution for the care of the elderly and sick is found around 1920, when Russian doctors - captured on the Eastern Front in World War I, established a hospital in the castle, which operated from 1920 to 1923.
