Hiking

Settle down on the bench and enjoy the water lilies and birds, preferably early. Note: the "official walk" takes you past three ponds in total. The last one is unfortunately private/protected, while the first one has the most waterfowl, but it's so beautiful and surrounded by reeds and magnificent trees.

Did you know: In 2020, Limburgs Landschap vzw planned a number of small landscaping works. A number of trees on the bank were to be largely felled. However, a painting from the 40s by Charles Wellens changed these plans. It showed that Scots pines were already standing on the bank of this body of water back then.
