A little-known public beach in the exclusive Seacliff neighborhood, down a steep paved path, with rare Golden Gate Bridge views from the Pacific Ocean side. The bathhouse with showers and restrooms was closed in 2015 and has yet to be reopened, but the serious ocean swimmers cherish this beach facing the Pacific open ocean. Some serious long-distance open water swimmers fight the rough choppy current at high tide along the coast through the Golden Gate under the bridge and into the Aquatic Park beach.
