Absolutely gigantic view. On the left the Estergebirge, on the right the Ammergau Alps and straight ahead you look directly into the Wetterstein. For me with one of the most beautiful vantage points in the foothills.

Hiking

Only up to the Heldenkreuz is a beautiful tour that can also be family-friendly. The paths are good, the view is beautiful and everything is easy to reach from the parking lot on Walchenseestrasse. Or you can use it as a starting point for crossing the ridge to the Osterfeuerberg.
