The water of the Regge flows steadily past, forming meanders on the water's surface. Damselflies dart past in beautiful blue and black... you sometimes feel like you're somewhere in France, on the banks of a flowing river. But you are really here in the Netherlands. Please note: at high water levels this path is difficult or impossible to pass at all. Then choose the slightly more distant path along the scouting grounds and the Steile Oever.

Hiking

Nice path across a cow meadow, on the Beneden Regge river in the Overijssel region. The river course looks very natural. The cows graze right on the river bank. The animals are peaceful and can be photographed well 😉. In the middle of the path is a bench with a direct view of the river.
