The pond is right by the Flaeming Skate and is therefore easy to reach. A total of nine muskrats live in the pond, as we were told. You don't let the cyclists bother you. However, these animals should be left alone, as they can defend themselves if they are too close.

The muskrats are well fed and very friendly. Without making any big pull-ups, they came to us asleep. When there was no food, the one muskrat turned off and "growled" to himself.
