The property at Sonnborner Straße 56 is a Protestant church built between 1918 and 1926 by the provincial church architect Arno Fritsche, which is verifiably the third church building to have been built on this site. The nave is oriented in a north-south direction, in contrast to the late Romanesque or classicistic previous building, which was destroyed by a fire in 1917.

Listed as a historical monument since 1992.
