The view - but also the way there - is the highlight of the Rabenack via ferrata and worthwhile!
The via ferrata is, in contrast to the shorter Rheinsteig, partially secured (that's the technical term) - i.e. equipped with steel ropes. A via ferrata set is not absolutely necessary, but in general, freedom from vertigo and sure-footedness are recommended.
