On the cycle path, just after Mömbris in the direction of Alzenau, this old mill is on the side of the road. The mill wheel is still okay, but didn't turn. Worth a look.

The Strötzbach Mill, which is a listed building, was built in 1650 as a double mill in a half-timbered house. It consists of two former grain mills and was built on a natural waterfall on the Kahl. The mill wheels now look a bit battered.
The Strötzbach train station is located nearby. Before and after the Kahl Bridge there is a weir about 7 meters long that directs the short mill stream to the Strötzbach Mill building and forms a small island. The Kahltal-Spessart cycle path passes by the mill.
