Here you can take a break in the castle park on one of the many benches. It has a beautiful view of the imposing castle and in the background is the castle pond. You can take the wheels with you but do not drive with them but push them.

Between 1858 and 1863, Baron Charles van Caloen and his wife Countess Savina de Gourcy Serainchamps had the romantic Castle of Loppem built.
The architecture and interiors have been preserved in their original state. Moreover, the castle houses a rich art collection. In the past, artists and kings came to visit here. Today you are a guest of the builders and the first residents. The Jean van Caloen Foundation ensures the preservation of this building and opens the castle and the surrounding domain to visitors.
