Road cycling
The train which carried people and supplies between Seoul and Wonsan before the Korean War makes a U-turn at Sintanri Station. The railroad running from Sintanri Station, former Cheolwon Station, and Pyeonggang beyond the MDL has disappeared.
In North Korea, Gyeongwon Line connecting Pyeonggang, Sepo, Gosan, Tongjiwon, Wonsan and Gowon has been called Gangwon Line for a long time. A signpost reading “Iron Horse wants to run” standing around Sintanri Station, which indicates the south disconnection point of Gyeongwon Line, makes us feel the tragedy of national division.
