Tinsley locks and moorings area has picnic benches, a good place to rest and take on refreshments.

The canal towpath from Victoria Keys canal basin in the city centre to Tinsley is a great alternative route out of the city to Meadowhall and Rotherham and is a bit quiet than the Fiver Weirs walk, probably because it's not as well-surfaced. The track is a bit rough in places and you'll need to take care under the bridges and when passing the fishermen.
There's also some great street art on the section between Bacon Lane and Attercliffe.
At Meadowhall the towpath joins up with the Five Weirs Walk route and continues on to Rotherham.
