This challenging touring cycling route from Jenner takes you along the iconic Highway 1, offering continuous, dramatic views of the Northern Sonoma Coast. You'll navigate rolling hills and significant elevation changes, passing by the panoramic Stillwater Cove Overlook and the striking natural arch at Arched Rock Overlook. The journey is a demanding yet rewarding experience, immersing you in rugged bluffs and picturesque coves.

Expect a hard ride due to the 3885 feet (1184 metres) of elevation gain over 49.9 miles (80.3 km), typically taking around 5 hours and 17 minutes. Traffic on Highway 1 can be heavy, especially during peak seasons, so defensive riding is crucial. While mostly paved, be prepared for sustained climbs and cautious descents, making this best suited for experienced cyclists.

The primary draw of this route is the immersive experience of cycling one of California's most scenic roadways, known for its grandeur. Stillwater Cove Regional Park is a notable stop, offering not just overlooks but also beach access and trails that wind through redwood forests, providing a unique blend of coastal and forest scenery.
