Driesh Summit

Hiking

5.0

(27)

One of the most easterly Munros and at the very south of the Cairngorms National Park, hikes up Driesh are popular and provide a fantastic day in dramatic landscape. With a summit at 3,107-foot (947 m) Driesh is a serious climb and often hiked in tandem with neighbouring Munro, Mayar. That said, in good conditions, its most popular routes aren’t technical, opening up this rugged mountain to a variety of hillwalkers.

    Hiking

Driesh is a 3,107-foot (947 m) Munro in the Scottish Highlands. It's commonly climbed with its neighbour Mayar, which is a nice circular route that starts in the dense woodland of Glen Doll Forest and ends on the open mountain side with views over to the Glenshee Munros and Lochnagar on a good day.

A good beginner Munro, easy to navigate to and along with Mayar makes a grand day out in the mountains.
