Hiking

Beautiful views of the lake. In winter with slightly better visibility as the trees do not have any leaves.

Hiking

The monastery lake of Dargun is about 180 m wide, 1350 m long and about 3-4 m deep. You can walk around it in about 1.5 hours. The lake was created by the monks of the monastery in the 14th century with the help of a dam. It was used for fishing and to operate a water mill. A path leads directly from the lake promenade to the Mecklenburg Switzerland Nature Park and Lake Kummerow.
There is a bicycle and trolley rental station at the Klostersee

Hiking

The lake was dammed by the monks, making it artificial and one of five reservoirs in MV. Very beautiful because it largely has natural banks. There's also a lot of history surrounding it
