    Hiking

As a highlight for children, a huge paddock adjoins the southern shore of the lake, where children can already watch, pet and feed many horses, donkeys and goats from the road.

The Misurinasee is a very beautiful mountain lake below the Drei Zinnen.
After a short or long bike tour to the lake, a walk around the lake is definitely worthwhile.
Very nice hiking trail, about 4 km.
Great photo opportunities from many places on the lake.

The Lago di Misurina ring tour offers an easy hiking experience around the crystal-clear waters of Lake Misurina, nestled at 1,754 meters (5,755 feet) in the Dolomites. This route is primarily flat and well-maintained, combining paved sections, natural paths, and sometimes wooden boardwalks. As you hike, you will enjoy continuous panoramic views of majestic peaks like the Cristallo Group, Cadini di Misurina, and the iconic Tre Cime di Lavaredo, often beautifully reflected in the lake's surface. This easy 1.7-mile (2.7 km) loop involves only 68 feet (21 metres) of elevation gain and takes about 42 minutes to complete, making it suitable for all fitness levels.

This accessible trail is ideal for families, children, and the elderly, with plenty of charming picnic spots and benches where you can pause and enjoy the scenery. The path winds through shaded woodlands, alpine meadows, and open areas, providing a gentle outdoor experience. Since the research does not specify trailhead access, parking, or public transport details, it is best to plan your visit by checking local information for the most convenient starting points around the lake.

Lago di Misurina is known for its pure mountain air and unique microclimate, historically recognized for therapeutic benefits. The lake and its surroundings also hold cultural significance, having been featured on postcards and hosting speed skating events during the 1956 Winter Olympics. While this is an easy hike, the lake also serves as a starting point for more challenging routes, such as those leading to Lake Antorno or the Cadini di Misurina, if you are looking to extend your adventure.
