The Tibaum nature reserve is located in the west of the Lippe floodplain and is almost 100 hectares in size. On the bank of the river, between partly dead trees, a lot of plants and animals feel at home.

The idyllic landscape in the "Am Tibaum" nature reserve is typical of the Lippeauen and consists largely of alluvial forests, wet meadows and mountain subsidence waters. Along the banks of the Lippe, the beautiful walkways meander through the nature reserve, surrounded by pastures and ponds that are home to many different species of birds. Walking is also interesting here. A nice path completely paved. But the nature around it is very beautiful. Storks and herons are not uncommon here. Kingfishers are harder to see, but also on the spot. Various species of ducks make a nice transition to the next nature reserve.
