Hiking
Hidden deep in the Horstwalder dune landscape is the former FKVV Horstwalde, which is still used today by automobile manufacturers for test purposes and is still partly used by the Federal Office for Materials Research for explosive purposes. Originally a test track for military vehicles, built during the 3rd Reich.
