A bronze sculpture of Christopher Columbus by Jeronimo Suñol outdoors is being installed in Central Park, Manhattan, New York. The statue was created in 1892 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the arrival of Columbus on the American continent. It was unveiled in Central Park on May 12, 1894. (Wikipedia)
