Facing the Atlantic and the mythical Ilha do Pessegueiro, this beach holds ancient stories in its sands. It is said that the name comes from the Latin piscatorius, in reference to an old Roman fish salting factory that once stood there.
In the summer months, it is possible to cross the channel, once a refuge for Roman and Carthaginian vessels, and explore the island that inspired legends and gave its name to this unique landscape.
