Fieselstraße: A piece of old Moers
It is today considered one of the most beautiful streets in Moers - but earlier it looked a little different here: the buildings of the Fieselstraße were at the time of our admission in 1971 sometimes only moderately attractive. But many buildings were lovingly and very elaborately restored in the following years.
In and on the Fieselstraße there are also many events, such. B. "The spirits of Fieselstraße - Moers Anno Dazumal"
Also very worth seeing the underlying Zwergengasse

"Today, some buildings, parts of the Oranian group of houses, are under monument protection. And something else makes Fieselstrasse something special: It is said to be haunted there, according to the Internet. According to this, local residents have the sound of hoofbeats, the sound of a carriage, loud conversations and a night watchman's power now turn off the lights, you people" heard the saying - always when the street was deserted."
