The Kneipp facility in the Schleifermoosach is located in the rose garden of Freising, on the banks of the Schleifermoosach. This facility was built and financed by the Kneipp Association Freising e.V. on July 9, 2011 and opened to the public. Since then, it has been appreciated and used a lot by the people of Freising. The Kneipp facility offers the opportunity to do water treading, one of the classic applications of Kneipp hydrotherapy. Water treading promotes blood circulation, strengthens the immune system and can have a soothing effect on tired legs and headaches. It is important to carry out the application correctly: in the so-called "stork walk", one leg is pulled completely out of the water with each step, with the tip of the foot bent downwards. After treading in the water, the legs should not be dried, but the water should simply be brushed off to achieve a pleasant warming effect. The facility is freely accessible and, in combination with the adjacent rose garden, which is home to over 80 fragrant rose varieties, offers a place for relaxation and recreation. In addition to the Kneipp facility, the rose garden also has various play equipment that is attractive for both children and adults.

Despite its central location, the rose garden is a place of relaxation. In addition to the diverse rose splendor, the garden has various play equipment and a Kneipp facility in the Moosach, which are attractive to both children and adults. The rose garden is open all year round and is free to enter. It is located near Bahnhofstrasse and is easily accessible on foot and by public transport. A visit to the rose garden offers not only rose lovers, but all nature lovers a welcome break from everyday life in the midst of a blooming environment.
