As of 05/2026: After almost 20 years, the fallen giant trees, which a few years ago still had to be climbed over and down, have almost completely decomposed, so that the bridges and walkways as well as plank paths have now been removed and only muddy sections over tree stumps have to be mastered.

So... If you don't exert yourself too much, it takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. We wore shorts, but I would recommend long pants because it sometimes goes through the forest 😉 Best, Sophie

Good and tasty, but not (anymore) very cheap.😉 Nevertheless, you should be happy that such a restaurant still exists in the Hunsrück and is doing quite well. You should just look at the Simmern town center.. 😏
