This is a quirky little wooden bridge; it only crosses a small stream, but you will be glad to have it here. In the winter months, the streams do get swollen, and it gets very wet here. It is actually a very tranquil spot and it would make a good rest stop.

You are at the southern end of the trail now. The edge of the lake is wet, and there is a stream here, but the path steers you away from the worst of it. The views out over the water are pretty nice from here.

The hiking trail around Vågsjön begins by the cabin and goes all the way around the lake. The trail is beautiful, and there is a bridge at the southern end. The terrain is hilly, but not too much so. It is a stunning forest area, and in the summer months it is a great swim and fishing spot.

Pay attention to where you place your feet. Not only are you very close to the water but also snakes are hiding or sun bathing between the rocks.
