Snibes Stuga cave has partly collapsed, but behind the fallen rocks there is a three-metre-high chamber where up to 30 people once found shelter. According to legend, the giant witch Sniban lived there, and later a soldier sought refuge in the cave during the Scanian War. After passing the cave, the trail leads through beautiful heathland with wonderful views and plenty of lingonberries, and you can also see the Bockasten boulder, which once marked the border between Denmark and Sweden.

Lake Flinka boasts a very rich birdlife. In spring, you can hear the snipe on the lookout for a mate with its "tick-a-tick-a-tick-a." Other birds that can be seen and nest at Lake Flinka include greylag geese, mallards, and teals. The crane, with its piercing cry that sounds like an old-fashioned car horn, can be heard long before you see it.

Overnight accommodation with a fire pit - unfortunately a bit close to the hiking car park.
