The large, heated waiting hall of the ferry terminal was a good place to pass the time until departure. (I had bought some provisions along the way and treated myself 😉) What slightly confused me was the lack of a display board or anything similar to show the progress of the ferry arrival and departure times. Only an A4 notice on the closed counter indicated that staff would collect you for check-in about 30 minutes before departure. The online booking system stated that you had to be at the terminal at least one hour (!) before departure. Five minutes before the actual departure, a door opened, and I, a rather nervous cyclist, was called and taken to the ferry by shuttle bus. I honestly thought I was in the wrong waiting area – especially since I was the only passenger with a bicycle. 😅🚴♂️

Open to public. One can do this trail/s 24Hrs 7 Days a week. Just check before the tour if there is track maintenance going on, even though it happens very rare. Definitely some deep profile on wide MTB tires recomended with some good brake system & low gear group.
