The Brandenburg Gate, also Neubrandenburg Gate, in Altentreptow is a Gothic city gate and one of originally three gates of the city wall that surrounded the city. The city gate later served as a small prison. In 1895 the prison system was modernized and an extension was built right next to the gate, which was a court prison until 1929. Apartments were built in the annex. A stabilizing ceiling was installed around 1984. The building was now used for cultural purposes.

A stork's nest is nothing unusual. Every village should have one. But these storks from Woggersin are said to have magic. The nest is built on a pole in the middle of the village. Around the stork's nest are the houses of the "new villagers" who often have to be paid off for a long time. Of course, the stork doesn't like the hustle and bustle in town, so he clatters like crazy with his offspring so that all the women in town can get pregnant. He hopes that the families will move out of the village and into the city again because of the unexpected offspring, because the debts from the house cannot be repaid. The stork family has a good plan, but the banks will quickly find new homeowners again. An eternal cycle of storks and people...

There are also Hansa fans in Altentreptow. That's nothing special, there are also in Rostock, Zwickau or North Korea. But the Altentreptower are a special breed. They like to drink beer, sing chav songs and push over garbage cans at 0.5 per mille. Very dangerous!
