The plateau lies between the main mountain ridge in the north and the Bohemian Kamm, with Luční hora (Hochwiesenberg) and Studniční hora (Brunnberg) in the south. The hut is located in Zone 1 of the Giant Mountains National Park and is not accessible by motorized transport.

Premium tip: If there are no more tickets here, you can take the train a few minutes to Teplice nad Metuji and there are always tickets to the Rock City. This ticket entitles you to walk about 3.5 km from there to Adersbach and gain access to the Rock City. It is even a bit cheaper and always available without online reservation (as of August 2026).

If you go to Sněžka in the summer, wear autumn clothes. If you go to Sněžka in the autumn, wear winter clothes. If you go to Sněžka in the winter, wear clothes that you would also wear in the Arctic! And if you go to Sněžka in the spring, wear clothes for all four seasons. 🌦️😅

A labyrinth of sandstone rocks up to 100 meters high, narrow rock gorges, bizarre rock spires, and always spectacular views – a new highlight awaits at every turn. It's hard to believe what nature has created here over millions of years. For me, this natural paradise definitely counts among the most impressive landscapes in the Czech Republic. A place where you won't want to stop taking photos – and which you are guaranteed to visit more than once. 🇨🇿🪨✨

Since my childhood, I have considered Špindlerův Mlýn a beautiful mountain village. But nowadays it is too expensive and full of tourists.
