It is a beautiful area, but walking around with a dog is no longer possible. Part of it is closed because of horses that walk there.

I've been coming here every day for years. You can walk nice routes here. Lots of water. If you want to let the dog swim, be careful. In many places sharp pieces of wood protrude from the water (or under water). The dog can seriously injure itself from this. There is a special dog beach. Even for real avid hikers, you can connect the routes to, for example, the Bergbos, horse forest and much further.

The Piston Lake in Flevoland is a water that was created when sand was extracted here for the dike that runs along the IJsselmeer. The green surroundings of the lake, consisting of forests, shrubs and grassland, are wonderful for walking. You won't be the only visitor, because birds and butterflies like to come here too!

We have a great course in Lelystad in the summer and in the winter it is a little less because of the clay soil 👍🚴♀️🔝
