Both the red arrow and blue arrow routes show noticeable, significant work has been done on trail maintenance. Great, of course, but you do need to pay attention on the sections with short, steep climbs and descents. There is relatively a lot of loose sand here. For the not-yet-very-experienced MTB rider (like me), it's a case of watch out, and in those spots, I regularly had to get off my MTB and run a bit through the loose sand. These two Den Treek routes are absolute strong recommendations, and in my opinion, the purchase of a day pass is more than worth it.

Nice and technical! Even with a modern wide MTB handlebar you can get through it well. Good steering though.

If you try to cycle the MTB route Zeist at high speed, it is a fairly technical course due to the many short bends. The course is well maintained and winds through a beautiful forest. Don't forget to buy a digital vignette to support the maintenance of the route.
